Rockytan RAL can be used in production of white leathers, fixing dyestuffs and increasing dyeing brilliance. It also improves nubuck and suede due to good buffability.
Rockytan RAL is compatible with mineral tanning agents. It also has limited compatibility with anionic tanning agents and dyestuffs.
If Rockytan RAL being used along with chrome tanning agents in the main tannery stage, the produced leather will have a very light color and a very fine flat grain.
- In the retanning based on the shaved weight:
1-3 % Rockytan RAL
- For increasing the color shade after the fixing with acid:
0.3-1 % Rockytan RAL
- For fixation of hydrophobic agents: 2-3 % Rockytan RAL
Containers should be well sealed to prevent water evaporation and skin forming. The product must be stored between 5-25°C. Freezing and direct sun light must be avoided.
